New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing (NZTR), the governing body for thoroughbred racing in New Zealand, oversees and regulates the sport. Together with LOVERACING.NZ, the industry’s fan brand, NZTR is dedicated to promoting thoroughbred racing and increasing participation and interest in the sport. The partnership with the upcoming Lucinda Green Clinic reflects NZTR’s commitment to engaging with off the track thoroughbred owners and helping to further educate in a safe and supportive environment with a coach that understands the breed. Sponsorship of these events is made possible through The 1% Welfare Levy, proudly funded by the thoroughbred industry. 1% of stakes money from the racing industry goes into the fund and is allocated to support thoroughbreds in a number of ways once they leave the racing industry.
Thoroughbred Eventing Sponsorship Opportunity
Are you and your Thoroughbred working hard to grow as a team in the sport of eventing? We're excited to be offering a $385 sponsorship to help cover the cost of these lessons for dedicated combinations riding registered Thoroughbreds.
With limited spots, we’re looking for passionate riders who are committed to their horse and the journey. Tell us your story - what makes your partnership unique, your goals, and how this support could help you take the next step.
If you have issues confirming your horses breeding please contact traceability@nztr.co.nz
NZTR are also covering, any thoroughbred horse that is purchased from one of their recognised re-trainers, ground, yarding/stabling fees.
